22 SATURDAY Paul Bossie estimates he handed out 7,000 antiwar leaflets at the Air and Water Show last year. Bossie, a peace activist who calls the annual pageant “a giant commercial for the military,” claims he could have handed out 20,000. “I was taking it easy,” he says. He and a handful of others will be leafleting and hanging banners again at this year’s noisy debacle. They welcome new converts, who can find them from 10 to 3:30 today and Sunday at the east end of the pedestrian bridge that crosses Lake Shore Drive just north of North Avenue. It’s free. Call 773-275-9516 for more.

27 THURSDAY Five years ago Mike Miller and friends cleaned up the dive formerly known as Crash Palace, added mood lighting and an impressive selection of bourbon, and reopened the joint as Delilah’s. But live DJs still provide the entertainment five nights a week. Tonight a slew of them will take turns spinning discs at Delilah’s fifth anniversary party. The genre-surfing crew will include ska DJ Dave Simon; punk DJs Springa, Chris Sim, Darrick, and Kathy; country DJs Rob Miller and Nan Warshaw; and assorted local musicians, including Al Jourgensen and Material Issue’s Mike Zelenko. The free party is from 4 to 2 at Delilah’s, 2771 N. Lincoln (773-472-2771).
